Examination

1. Align the test equipment with the headlight.

2. Turn on the headlights. Headlight adjustment:

• For all countries except USA and Canada: Headlights must be adjusted so that the light beams are parallel to each other and 1.2% below horizontal.
• For US models: Headlights should be adjusted so that the light beams are parallel to each other and 0.4% below horizontal.

Adjustment

1. Rotate the inner adjustment screw to adjust the vertical plane.

2. For all countries except USA and Canada: Rotate the outer adjustment screw to adjust the horizontal plane.

NOTE: The outer adjustment screw is accessible from the back of the headlight.

3. Align the headlight adjuster with the second headlight.

4. Adjust the second headlight as described above.

5. Turn off the headlights and remove the headlight adjuster.
