Follow these guidelines when towing your vehicle after it has been in a collision.

Towing - SRS components did not deploy

During normal towing of the vehicle, the SRS components are unlikely to deploy. However, as a precaution, turn off the ignition and disconnect both battery cables. Disconnect the negative terminal first.

Towing - SRS components deployed

If the driver's airbag has deployed, towing by the partial loading method (the front axle rests on the body of the towing vehicle) is permitted. However, as a precaution, turn off the ignition and disconnect both battery cables. First, disconnect the negative terminal.
