Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the soundproofing casing.

ENGINE - Td4, Inlet and outlet camshafts, Engine soundproofing casing, models produced before May 2002.


3. Unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel cooling radiator to the upper cross member of the radiator frame.

4. Disconnect the connector from the fan controller.

4. Disconnect the connector from the fan controller.


5. Remove the cover from the cooling fan controller.

6. Loosen the controller mounting bolt and remove the controller.

Installation


1. Install the controller, screw in the mounting bolt and tighten it to 5 Nm.

2. Place the cover on the fan controller.



3. Connect the connector to the fan controller.

4. Install the fuel cooling radiator and tighten the mounting nuts to a torque of 10 Nm.

5. Replace the soundproofing casing.

6. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
