Operating procedure
1. Inspect the engine and cooling system components for leaks.
CAUTION: Do not open the cap while the engine is hot, as you may be scalded by steam or coolant.
2. Check the hoses for cracks, deformation and reliability of the connecting parts.
3. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
4. Remove the filler cap of the expansion tank.
5. Install a container to collect the escaping coolant.
6. Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the down pipe to drain the liquid from the cooling system.
Filling
1. Flush the system with low pressure water.
CAUTION: Do not apply high pressure water to the system as this could damage the radiator.
2. Attach hoses to the lower pipe of system of cooling and fix them with a collar.
3. Prepare coolant of the required concentration.
FILLING CAPACITIES, LIQUIDS AND OILS, Working liquids.
4. Remove the screw from the air outlet located in the cooling system hose.
5. Set the interior heating control to the maximum heat position.
6. Slowly pour coolant into the expansion tank until a continuous stream of coolant comes out of the air outlet.
7. Carefully, by hand, screw the screw into the air outlet.
8. Reinstall the expansion tank filler cap.
9. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
WARNING: DO NOT turn on the air conditioning system.
10. Check that warm air is coming out of the heating nozzles.
NOTE: The absence of warm air at the outlet of the nozzles may indicate the presence of an air lock in the heater core. If necessary, cool the engine, unscrew the cap of the expansion tank and repeat the procedure for bleeding the cooling system using the air outlet.
11. Stop the engine and let it cool down.
12. Make sure there are no leaks and add liquid to the tank to the mark "MAX".
13. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
