WARNING: Do not remove the coolant expansion tank cap when the system is hot, as steam or coolant escaping from the cap could cause serious injury such as scalding.
1. Put the car on a lift.
2. Set heater controls to maximum.
3. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. Specification.
4. Remove the engine cover. Engine cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)

WARNING: Do not remove the coolant expansion tank cap when the system is hot, as steam or coolant escaping from the cap could cause serious injury such as scalding.
Remove the cap of the expansion tank of the cooling system.
6. Remove the left front mudguard. Remove 4 clips.
7. Remove the panel that blocks access to the radiator. Turn out 4 bolts.
8. Place a container to catch spilled liquid.

WARNING: Coolant that comes into contact with the paintwork can damage it. If you spill coolant, remove it immediately and flush the area with water.
Release the clamp, remove the lower radiator hose and allow the coolant to drain.
10. Remove the spare tire assembly.
- Remove the toolbox.
- Get access to the winch.
12. Disconnect the rear heater coolant hoses.
- Release 2 clamps.
- Let the coolant drain.
13. Connect hoses of a cooling liquid of a back heater. Fasten the clamps.
14. Install the spare tire assembly. Lay down the tool kit.
15. Connect and secure the lower radiator hose. Fasten with a clip.
16. Connect a wire of weight to the storage battery. Specification.
17. Put on exhaust pipes hoses of an extract of exhaust gases.
18. Loosen the screw to bleed air from the coolant expansion tank.
19. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.
20. Start the engine and let it run.
- Maintain the engine speed at 2500 rpm for 30 seconds.
- Let the engine run at idle for 30 seconds.
- Repeat the above procedure 4 more times.

NOTE: After bleeding the cooling system and before screwing on the cap of the expansion tank, add coolant to it so that its level is 30 mm above the upper mark.
Install the expansion tank cap.
23. Let the engine run until the thermostat opens.
24. Stop the engine and let it cool down.
25. Install the engine cover. Engine cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)
26. Clean the chassis and surrounding area of any remaining coolant.
27. Install the panel that blocks access to the radiator. Tighten 4 bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
28. Install the left front mudguard.
29. Check coolant level, top up if necessary.
