Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the lower pipe of the cooling system.
COOLING SYSTEM: Td4 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Draining coolant, flushing the system and filling.
3. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the fuel cooling radiator to the upper cross member of the radiator frame and carefully move the radiator to the side.
4. Loosen the 2 clamps and remove the inlet hose from the air-to-air radiator.
5. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the upper hose from the radiator.
6. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the fan controller.
7. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the fan casing to the radiator.
8. Remove the fan housing with the motor.
9. Disconnect the connector from the cooling fan motor.
10. Unscrew the three bolts securing the engine to the fan casing and remove the engine with the fan.
Installation
1. Install the fan assembly with the electric motor on the fan casing, screw in the screws and tighten them to a torque of 5 Nm.
2. Connect the connector to the cooling system fan motor.
3. Install the fan shroud into the engine compartment.
4. Screw in the bolts securing the fan shroud to the radiator and tighten them to a torque of 5 Nm.
5. Connect the lower radiator hose and secure it with a clamp.
6. Connect the main harness connectors to the fan controller and secure the connectors.
7. Connect the upper hose to the radiator and secure with a clamp.
8. Install the inlet hose to the air-to-air cooler radiator and tighten the clamps.

9. Install the fuel cooling radiator on the upper cross member of the radiator frame and tighten its mounting nuts to a torque of 10 Nm.
10. Connect the negative battery terminal.
11. Fill the engine with coolant.
