Rear section of the exhaust system (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.

CAUTION: Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.

2. Loosen the rear section pipe clamp nut.

3. Remove the 2 rubber exhaust suspension earrings from the rear section.

4. Remove the rear section.

Installation

1. Clean the mating surfaces of the rear section and the middle section of the exhaust system.

2. Install the back section and hang it on the rubber lugs.

3. Tighten the rear section pipe clamp nut to 55 Nm.

4. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
