Side Impact Sensor Column (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

2. Make the SRS system safe. Refer to the procedure: Standard Workshop Techniques (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

3. Remove the front door sill trim panel. Refer to procedure: Front Door Applique Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

4. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, repeat the removal procedure in reverse order.
