1. Visually inspect for obvious signs of damage and system integrity.
Mechanical elements:
- Tire pressure
- Damage to tires/wheels
- Installation/damage to the low tire pressure sensor
- Front activator installation/damage
- Rear activator installation/damage

2. If an obvious cause for the problem you have identified or the customer has described is found, correct it (if possible) before proceeding further.
3. If the cause is not visually obvious, check for DTCs and refer to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index.
