The TPMS software automatically detects the position of the wheels using the automatic location function. This function operates completely automatically and does not require driver intervention. In addition, the TPMS software can automatically collect data on the position of the wheels on the vehicle if the tire pressure sensors have been replaced or the position of the wheels on the vehicle has been changed.
The TPMS software is capable of automatically detecting, under any operating conditions:
- installation of one or more new tire pressure sensors
- cessation of signal transmission by one or more tire pressure sensors
- tPMS software may not identify tire pressure sensors that are not correct for the vehicle
- replacing one of the "working" wheels with a spare one
If a new sensor is installed on the "working" wheel, the identification data of the new sensor can be automatically entered into the system software after the first trip in the car lasting more than 15 minutes at a speed exceeding 20 km/h.
NOTE: The spare tire is not equipped with a tire pressure sensor.
