Glow plug and auxiliary heater burner (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The steps described in this procedure may be included in the installation procedure.

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Place axle stands under the vehicle.

3. Remove the fuel fired auxiliary heater. Refer to procedure: Fuel Fired Auxiliary Heater (412-02 Auxiliary Climate Control, Removal and Installation).

4. Tightening torque: 10 Nm







7. Tightening torque: 7,5 Nm





8. Tightening torque: 10 Nm














13. Tightening torque: 7 Nm

NOTE: Remove and discard gasket.

Installation

1. Install the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
