Handle and tips of the contact extraction tool (Freelander 2)
The extractor handle with the correct tip is used to extract the contact from the electrical connector. Each tip in the wire harness repair kit is marked with an identifier letter from A to K. Each tip is specifically designed to extract a specific type of contact from the electrical connector. It is not recommended to use any other tools, as there is a risk of damaging the connector. The tip is attached to the handle with a screw that secures the tip in place and allows for easy replacement.
