Removal
NOTE: If removal of the outside handle involves removing other interior door components, it is recommended to release the outside door handle and screw cover from the inside of the door after removing the door trim panel, regulator and motor.

NOTE: Removing the screw cover may damage the clips that hold it in place.
NOTE: If the screw cover is to be removed in conjunction with additional door internal items, then it is recommended that the screw cover be released from the inside of the door, after removal of the door trim pad, regulator and motor.
Remove the screw cover. Release the 2 clamps.

2. To remove the front door outer handle without removing the door trim panel.
- Push the handle back firmly, then rotate it away from the door and remove it.
- Remove 2 gaskets.

3. To remove the front door outer handle after removing the door trim panel and regulator.
- Using a nylon mallet, carefully release the clamp.
- Remove 2 gaskets.

Installation
1.
NOTE: Use a wire of appropriate length to secure the spring of the lock lever while pressing the outer handle.
Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
