Adjusting the latch striker (Discovery 3)

1. Make sure that adjacent panels are aligned and have the same gap. If this condition is not met, follow the adjustment procedure below.



2. Remove the tailgate latch trim panel.



3. Loosen the 2 tailgate retainer bolts.

4. Close the tailgate and make sure that the adjacent panels are aligned and have the same gap.

5. Open the tailgate and tighten the tailgate retainer bolts. (tightening torque 25 Nm).

6. Install the tailgate latch trim panel.
