Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.


2. Remove the cooling fan motor and housing. Refer to procedure: Cooling Fan (303-03B Engine Cooling - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the bumper mount. Refer to procedure: Front Bumper (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

4. Remove the charge air cooler. Refer to procedure: Charge Air Cooler (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtration - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal and Installation).

1. Install rubber supports.

2. Carefully install the radiator.

3. Install the supports and tighten the bolts. Tightening torque: 6 Nm

Cars with automatic transmission

4. Install the automatic transmission fluid heat exchanger. Tightening torque: 6 Nm

5. Connect and secure the coolant hose.



All cars

6. Connect the expansion tank hose to the radiator.

7. Connect the A/C condenser to the radiator. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

8. Install the charge air cooler. Refer to procedure: Charge Air Cooler (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtration - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal and Installation).

9. Install the bumper mount. Refer to procedure: Front Bumper (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

10. Install the cooling fan motor and housing. Refer to procedure: Cooling Fan (303-03B Engine Cooling - 2.2L Duratorq - Td4, Removal and Installation).
