Radiator — removal and installation (Discovery 1)

1. Drain the coolant.

2. Remove the fan together with the coupling.

3. Unfasten the two clips and remove the fan diffuser.





4. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.

5. Disconnect the hoses of the gearbox oil and engine oil cooling sections. Plug the hoses.

6. Disconnect the transmission oil temperature sensor.

7. Remove the mounting brackets from both sides of the radiator.

8. Remove the radiator, check the condition of the support cushions.

9. Reinstall the oil cooler hose mounting fittings onto the new radiator (if necessary).

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Tighten the oil cooler hose fittings to 30 Nm BEFORE INSTALLING the fan diffuser.
