CAUTION: Avoid allowing working fluid to come into contact with the generator.
7. Remove and discard the sealing ring.

8. Install a container to collect the working fluid, loosen the fastening and disconnect the return hose from the working fluid cooler.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing steering components, make sure that the surfaces adjacent to the connections are free of dirt. Install plugs in the openings of the fittings and pipes to prevent dirt from entering the system.

9. Remove 4 screws and remove the power steering pump.
NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for ease of access.
10. Remove 5 screws and brackets from the power steering pump.
Assembly
1. Install the brackets onto the power steering pump and tighten the screws to 25 Nm.
2. Install the power steering pump in place and tighten the mounting screws. Tighten the M8 screws to 25 N·m and the M6 screws to 10 N·m.
3. Wipe the connection points of the power steering pipes.
4. Connect the hoses to the working fluid cooler and secure them.
5. Clean the power steering pump and pipe connections.
6. Install a new sealing ring onto the high pressure pipe end, connect the pipe to the pump and tighten the nipple nut to a torque of 25 Nm.
7. Install the drive pulley onto the pump shaft and tighten the screws by hand.
