Intermediate shaft speed sensor current collector (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the transmission pan.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - GM 5L40-E, REPAIR WORK, Gasket - oil pan of automatic transmission.

2. Disconnect the connector block from the speed sensor.

3. Remove the Torx screw securing the speed sensor to the automatic transmission housing.

4. Remove the speed sensor and gasket.

Assembly

1. Clean the speed sensor and mating surface.

2. Install the speed sensor with the gasket in the automatic transmission housing.

3. Install the Torx type screw for the speed sensor and tighten it to 10 N·m.

4. Connect the connector to the speed sensor.

5. Reinstall the transmission pan.
