Front side trim panels (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the handle above the window.

2. Remove the lower trim panels of the luggage compartment.

3. Remove the upper ceiling light cover

4. Unscrew the upper and lower seat belt fasteners.

5. Remove the seat belt inertia mechanism cover.

6. Remove the front seat belt guide.

7. Open the side window, unscrew the latch mounting screws and remove the latch cover.

8. Remove the decorative caps from the side window hinges.

9. Detach the window frame from the rubber band.

10. Disconnect the rear seat belt from the guide on the side panel.

11. Fold the rear seat down and carefully remove the side panel from the mountings.

12. Route the front seat belt inside and remove the side panel.

12. Route the front seat belt inside and remove the side panel.


13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note: Before installing the side panel, check that the upholstery material is securely glued to the pillars; do not tear off the upholstery during installation.


14. Tightening torque of seat belt mounting bolts: 32 Nm.
