1. Move the front seats back.

2. Disconnect the battery.

3. Disconnect the airbag connectors.

Attention: Please read the instructions in this section "Passive safety system".


4. Remove the glove compartment.

5. Remove the driver's side access panel.

6. Remove the center console.

7. Remove the airbag from the steering wheel.

8. Remove the (passenger) airbag from the front panel.

9. Remove the steering column.

10. Remove the steering wheel.

11. Remove the steering column switch.

12. Remove the instrument cluster, see. "Electrical equipment of a car".

13. Remove the radio.

14. Remove the rear view mirror control switches.

15. Remove the coin drawer.

16. Remove the switch block.

17. Remove the watch.

18. On the passenger side, unscrew the screws securing the relay box bracket and move the bracket to the side.

19. Turn the heater control clockwise until it stops.

20. Mark the heater control cables, disconnect the cables from the levers, and the cable sheaths from the heater housing.

21. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the central lower bracket of the front panel.

22. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the side lower brackets of the front panel.

23. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the two steering column break system covers.

24. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the instrument cluster bracket.

25. With the help of an assistant, partially pull out the front panel.

26. Driver side: Disconnect the 6 dash panel wire harness connectors from the main harness.

27. Disconnect the 3 front panel connectors from the fuse box.

28. With the help of an assistant, lift the front panel and remove it from the vehicle.

29. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
