Rearview mirror (interior, 96 models) (Discovery 1)

Note: To remove a manual mirror, follow only step 8 of the instructions.


1. Remove the front upper ceiling shelf.

2. Remove the left sun visor.

3. Loosen the sun visor clip mounting screw.

3. Loosen the sun visor clip mounting screw.


4. Unscrew the screw and remove the clip.

5. Unscrew the two screws securing the sunroof control unit and move the unit to the side.

6. Disconnect the wiring clip and the mirror drive connector.

7. Remove the adhesive tape securing the wires to the ceiling.

8. Cut off the glue that attaches the mirror to the glass.

Attention: do not use levers to remove the mirror, move the mirror in the direction of the arrow parallel to the glass.


9. Remove the mirror.

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Lay the wires as shown in the picture.
