Headlining panel (5-door models with rear air conditioning) (Discovery 1)

1. Remove both sun visors.

2. Remove the window handles.

3. Remove the upper cross panel (interior light lamp mounts).

4. Remove the trim panel of the left upper ceiling light.

5. Remove the trim panel of the right upper ceiling light.

6. Remove the decorative caps from the screws that secure the brackets of both sun visors.



7. Remove the brackets of both sun visors.

8. Remove the clips from both sun visors.

9. Remove the front hatch seal.



10. Remove the interior light bulb from the ceiling panel, disconnect the connector and remove the bulb.



11. Remove the sunroof control switch from the ceiling panel, disconnect the connector and remove the switch.



12. Remove the three ventilation grilles.



13. Through the hatch opening, unscrew the screw securing the ceiling panel to the body.



14. Remove the rear hatch seal.



15. Release the upper fasteners of the decorative trims of the "A" pillars.



16. With the help of an assistant, detach the ceiling panel from the mountings on the "A", "B" and "D" pillars.





17. Remove the ceiling panel.

18. If necessary, unscrew the 22 nuts securing the sealing panels.



19. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
