Front Seat Belts (5-Door 96 Models) (Discovery 1)

1. Move the seat to access the belt mounting bolts.



2. Remove the decorative caps from the mounting bolts, unscrew the bolt and remove the spacer.

3. For power seats only: Remove the seat side trim mounting screws.

4. Remove the side cover.



5. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower belt support to the seat.



6. Pull back the door seal on the B-pillar so that the lower pillar trim can be easily removed.



7. Release the belt from the top of the lower cover and remove the cover.

8. Loosen the bolt securing the belt inertia mechanism to the bottom of the B-pillar.



9. Disconnect the "fasten your seat belt" indicator light switch connector (if installed).

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
