Dismantling


1. Remove the seat base cover.

2. Remove the rear side decorative panel.

3. Remove the 2 Torx bolts from the lower seat belt mount and remove the mount from the seat.

4. Release the seat belt guide.

5. Remove the cover from the intermediate hinge.

6. Remove the Torx bolt securing the intermediate seat belt loop.

7. Unscrew the inertia reel mounting bolt and remove the reel.

Installation


NOTE: If a component of the passive restraint system needs to be replaced, the bar code of the new component must be recorded.


1. Install the inertia reel and tighten its mounting bolt to a torque of 31 Nm.

2. Pull the belt off the reel, install the intermediate loop and tighten the Torx bolt to 31 Nm.

3. Install the intermediate hinge cover.

4. Secure the seat belt guide.

5. Install the lower seat belt anchorage onto the seat, tighten the Torx bolt to 40 Nm.

6. Install the rear side trim panel.

7. Install the seat base cover.
