Height-adjustable seat belt loop on the B-pillar (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Release the 6 fasteners from the upper decorative panel of the 'B/C' pillar and set it aside.



2. Loosen the nut securing the intermediate loop of the seat belt to its base and remove the intermediate loop.

3. Remove the 2 Torx bolts securing the adjustable base and remove the base.

Installation

1. Install the intermediate hinge base and tighten the Torx bolts to 26 Nm.

2. Install the intermediate seat belt loop and tighten the nut to 31 Nm.

3. Replace the upper trim panel of the 'B/C' pillar and secure it with the clips.
