Interior temperature sensor (Discovery 3)

Removal


1. For easy access, fully extend the steering column.

2. Remove the control panel access panel. Release the 2 clips.

2. Remove the control panel access panel. Release the 2 clips.


3. Remove the upper steering column cover. Release the 6 clips.

3. Remove the upper steering column cover. Release the 6 clips.


4. Remove the lower steering column cover.
  • Remove 3 Torx head screws.
  • Release the steering column adjustment lever fastening.
Release the steering column adjustment lever fastening.


5. Remove the steering column side trim panel.


  • Release the clamps.
  • Repeat the above procedure on the other side.
Repeat the above procedure on the other side.


6. Remove the steering column protective panel.
  • Remove 2 Torx head screws.
  • Release the 2 clamps.
Release the 2 clamps.


7. Remove the temperature sensor in the car's interior.
  • Release the 2 clamps.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Disconnect the hose.
Disconnect the hose.


Installation


1. Install the temperature sensor in the vehicle interior.


  • Connect the hose.
  • Connect the electrical connector.
  • Engage the clamps.
2. Install the steering column cover.
  • Engage the clamps.
  • Tighten the Torx head screws.
3. Install the steering column side trim panels. Engage the clamps.

4. Install the steering column covers.

5. Install the control panel access panel.
