Hardtop — Removal for Access to Repair Site and Installation (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the covers from the cargo crossbars.



2. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the cargo crossbars and, with the help of a partner, remove the crossbars.



3. Release and disconnect the hardtop latches and, with the help of a partner, remove the hardtop.

Installation

1. With the help of a partner, install the hardtop and secure it with the latches.

2. With the help of a partner, install the cargo crossbars, tighten the bolts that secure them.

3. Install the cargo crossbar covers.
