Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the plastic mudguard of the right rear wheel.

3. Disconnect the connector block from the fuel pump.
4. Loosen the fasteners and disconnect the fuel lines from the pump.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing system components, make sure that the adjacent surfaces of the joints are free of dirt. Install plugs in the openings of the fittings and pipes to prevent dirt from entering the system.
5. Release the fuel pump from its mounting on the rubber mounts and remove it.
Installation
1. Clean the fuel hose connectors.
2. Install the fuel pump and secure it to the rubber supports.
3. Align the fuel lines with the pump and secure them with clamps.
4. Connect the electrical connector block to the fuel pump.
5. Reinstall the rear wheel arch liner.

6. Connect the negative battery terminal.
