Dismantling
1. Drain the engine coolant.
COOLING SYSTEM: Td4 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Coolant drain, system flush and fill.
COOLING SYSTEM: MODIFICATION K, volume 1.8, ADJUSTMENTS, Coolant drain, system flushing and filling.
COOLING SYSTEM: MOD. K, KV6 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Coolant drain, system flush and fill.
2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps to the heater and disconnect the hoses.
3. Remove the control panel cover.
INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIRS, Control panel - for cars up to 2004 model year.
4. Remove 2 bolts from console support bracket. Remove 2 relays and remove bracket. For vehicles up to model year 2003.
5. Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors from the heater control panel. For vehicles up to 2004 model year.
6. Disconnect an electric socket from a heater and release a diagnostic socket.
7. For models equipped with air conditioning in the cabin. Disconnect the electrical connector from the evaporator.
8. Turn out a bolt from an air duct of the left deflector of the control panel and remove an air duct from a heater.
9. NOTE: On models equipped with a passenger airbag, remove the holder. Turn out a bolt from an air duct of the right deflector of the control panel and remove an air duct from a heater.
10. Remove the air duct of the right glass blowing nozzle.
11. Remove the air duct of the left glass blowing nozzle.
12. Remove the supply pipe.
13. Release the electrical cable from the two clamps on the heater.
14. Turn away 2 nuts and one bolt of fastening of a heater to a body and remove a heater.
NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.
15. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the heater control panel.
16. Disconnect the cable from the mixing flap control lever.
17. Disconnect a cable from the lever of management of a distributive gate.
18. Remove the heater control panel.
Installation
1. Install the control panel.
2. Connect the cable to the distribution flap control lever.
3. Connect cable to mixing flap control lever.
4. Connect the electrical connectors to the heater control panel.
5. Install the heater and secure it with nuts and bolts.
6. Replace the electrical cable and fix it with a clamp on the heater.
7. Install the air inlet.
8. Connect the air duct of the right glass blowing nozzle to the heater.
9. On the models equipped with a passenger pillow of safety, establish the holder. Connect the air duct of the right control panel deflector to the heater and fix it to the body with a bolt.
10. Connect the air duct of the left window blower nozzle to the heater.
11. Connect the air duct of the left deflector of the control panel to the heater and fix it on the body with a bolt.
12. For models equipped with air conditioning in the cabin. Connect the electrical connector to the evaporator.
13. Connect an electric socket to a heater and fix a diagnostic socket.
14. Connect electrical connectors to the heater control panel.
15. Establish an arm of the console and wrap a bolt of its fastening.
16. Insert the relay into the console bracket.
17. Replace the control panel.

18. Connect hoses to a heater and fix them collars.
19. Fill the engine with coolant.
