2. Pull the heater control knobs back.
3. Pull out the blower switch button.
4. Unscrew the two screws securing the control panel and remove the control panel.
5. Unscrew the four screws securing the switch.
6. Remove the switch panel.
7. Release the air distribution trims in the front panel from their clips to gain access to the rear of the panel, see. "Body".
8. Disconnect the four wiring connectors and move the wire bundles to the side.
Further operations are carried out as necessary.
9. Fan Speed Switch: Remove the switch slide and push the switch out.
10. Pull out the backlight bulb and release the switch wiring.
11. Release the three control cables from the clips.
12. Microswitch: Disconnect the three microswitches.
13. Cut the plastic tie and release the heater control unit wire harness.
