Electric heater heating element — with Td4 engine (Freelander 1)

Heating element of electric heater with positive temperature coefficient - for models with Td4 engine.

Dismantling

1. Remove the heater radiator.

HEATING AND VENTILATION, REPAIR WORK, Heater radiator.

2. Release the upper and then the lower tabs of the electric heater from the holes.



3. Release the heating element electrical cable bushing on the passenger side of the heater.

4. Carefully remove the heating element by routing the electrical cable through the heater assembly.

Installation

1. Carefully insert the heating element into place, routing the electrical cable through the heater assembly in the opposite direction.

2. Fix the electric cable bushing.



3. Insert first the lower and then the upper lugs of the electric heater into the holes.

4. Install the heater radiator.
