Electric heater power relay — with Td4 engine (Freelander 1)

Power relay for electric heater with positive temperature coefficient - for models with Td4 engine.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.



2. Release and open the cover of the fuse box located in the engine compartment.

3. Unscrew the 3 nuts securing the fuse box and remove it from the studs.



4. Remove the fastener and then remove the electric heater power relay bracket from the studs.

5. Remove the cover from the electric heater power relay.



6. Remove the harness securing the electric heater power relay.



7. Remove the electric heater power relay.

Installation

1. Install the electric heater power relay.

2. Tie the harness that secures the electric heater power relay.

3. Close the electric heater power relay with the cover.

4. Install the electric heater power relay bracket onto the studs and secure it with the fastener.

5. Install the fuse box onto the studs, tighten the nuts and tighten them to 8 Nm.

6. Close the fuse box cover.
