Dismantling
1. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.
MANIFOLDS AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: MOD. K, volume 1.8, REPAIR WORK, Exhaust manifold heat shield: vehicles with air conditioning.
3. Turn away 2 nuts of fastening of a flange of a pipe to an inlet collector and remove a pipe.
4. Remove and discard the flange gasket.
5. Release the oxygen sensor harness from the clamp on the cylinder block.
6. Loosen and disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
7. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator. Move the bracket away from the generator and remove the bracket.
8. Turn out a hairpin of an arm of the generator.
9. In the sequence shown in the figure, unscrew the 5 nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.
10. Remove the exhaust manifold and discard its gaskets.
Installation
1. Wipe the exhaust manifold and mating surface on the cylinder head.
2. Install a new exhaust manifold gasket on the cylinder head.
3. Install the exhaust manifold, fit the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 45 Nm in the sequence shown in the figure.
4. Screw a hairpin of an arm of the generator.
5. Install the generator bracket.
6. Screw in a bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator and tighten it with the moment of 25 Nm.
7. Attach the oxygen sensor harness to the clamp on the cylinder block.
8. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
9. Wipe the exhaust pipe and exhaust manifold flanges.
10. Having installed a new gasket, connect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold, fit the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 60 Nm.
11. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.

12. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
