Dismantling

1. Loosen the fasteners securing the gearshift boot to the floor tunnel.
2. Move the boot aside and disconnect the rear oxygen sensor connector.
3. Remove the lower engine guard.

4. Release the rubber bushing and remove the oxygen sensor harness connector through its hole.

5. Unscrew the two nuts securing the inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold.
6. Remove the inlet pipe with the gasket from the exhaust manifold.

7. Unscrew the two nuts and disconnect the inlet pipe from the middle section with the muffler.
8. Remove the flange gasket.
9. Release the inlet pipe from the rubber earrings of the exhaust system suspension.
10. Remove the exhaust pipe.

11. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the heat shield to the inlet pipe.
12. Remove the heat shield.
13. Remove the oxygen sensor.
Installation
1. Clean the oxygen sensor and its mounting location.
2. If you are installing an old oxygen sensor, apply anti-seize compound to its threads.
3. Screw in the oxygen sensor and tighten it to 55 Nm using the LRT-19-014 tool.
4. Install the heat shield on the intake pipe, tighten the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 9 Nm.
5. Clean the mating surfaces of the downpipe and the exhaust midsection.

6. Put on the inlet pipe rubber earrings of the exhaust system suspension.
7. After installing the new gasket, connect the intake pipe to the middle section, tighten the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 60 Nm.
8. Wipe the intake pipe flange and the mating surfaces of the exhaust manifold.
9. After installing the new gasket, connect the inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold, tighten the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 60 Nm.
10. Route the oxygen sensor wiring harness through the rubber grommet and secure the grommet.
11. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

12. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
13. Reinstall the gear shift boot.
