
In addition to controlling the power window system, the front door modules also control the following functions:

- Adjusting and heating the outside mirrors. For more information, refer to the chapter:

The rear door modules control only the windows and door locking.
The door modules are color-coded for proper placement on the vehicle. The driver's door module and both rear door modules are black. The front passenger door module is gray. The wiring harness connectors are also color-coded for connection to the corresponding door modules.
NOTE: Both rear door modules are identical.
If a front door module detects a fault, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the module memory. The DTC can be read using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system. If one of the rear door modules detects a fault, the DTC is stored in the corresponding front door module.
