Rear door window glass (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Carefully remove the outer glass seal.

• If possible, lower the window glass approximately one-third of the way.
• Using the special tool, release the door window glass from the window lift mechanism and lift the glass to the top of the door frame.

3. Secure the glass to the top of the frame.



4. Lower the window using the window lifter.

• Lower the front glass to the base of the door.
• Release the inserts from both guide channels.

Installation

1. Install the rear door window glass.

2. Install the insert into the glass guide.

3. Secure the glass to the top of the frame.

4. Raise the glass with the window lifter.

5. Secure the door window glass to the window lifter.

6. Install the outer seal and secure it with the Torx screw.
