Fixed section of rear door window (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Lower the front glass to the base of the door.

2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to Procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

4. Remove the rear door frame trim.

• Unscrew the two nuts.
• Remove the two Torx screws.
• Release the glass guide insert.

Installation

1. Install the fixed rear window glass and tighten the nuts and Torx screws evenly. Tightening torque: 5 Nm

2. Install the door frame trim.

3. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

4. Connect the ground cable to the battery. Refer to Procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).
