Removal


1. Install the rear window lifter motor and power window assembly. For more information, refer to Rear Door Window Lifter and electric Window Lifter motor (86.25.05)

2. Lower the rear door glass completely. Remove the wedge.

3. Remove the rear door frame trim.
  • Release the 2 clamps.
  • Carefully release the door trim.
4. Carefully remove the inner glass seal.

5. Remove the insert from the rear door glass guide.

6. Remove the rear door window glass.
  • Remove the sealing sleeve.
  • Loosen the Torx head screw, but do not remove it completely yet.
  • Pull the glass forward at the bottom edge to remove it from the door frame.

Installation


1. Install the rear door window glass.


  • Make sure the window glass retainer engages with the door frame.
  • Tighten the Torx head screw (tightening torque 10 Nm).
2. Install the insert into the glass guide.

3. Install the inner glass seal.

4. Install the door frame trim.
  • Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
  • Remove the protective layer from the self-adhesive tape.
  • Engage the clamps.
5.
NOTE: Secure the glass in this position with a wedge.


Raise the rear door glass completely. Insert the door glass into the guide.

6. Install the rear door window lifter motor and window lifter assembly. For more information, refer to Rear Door Window Lifter and electric Window Lifter motor (86.25.05)
