Rear door window glass (Discovery 3)

Removal

NOTE: Once the rear door window glass has been removed, the rear door window glass can be easily lifted and removed from the door.

NOTE: The door glass must be lowered approximately one third.

1. Remove the rear door window glass.

For more information, refer to Fixed Rear Door Window Section (76.31.31)

2. Remove the rear door window glass.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.

NOTE: Remember the position in which the parts are installed.

Remove the glass clamp.

• Remove the Torx head bolt.
• Remove the spacer sleeve.
• Remove the flat washer.

Installation

1. Install the door glass clamp.

• Install the spacer sleeve.
• Install the washer.
• Tighten the Torx head screws (tightening torque 8 Nm).

2. Install the rear door window glass.

3. Install the rear door window glass.
