        0
The following are standards for the time required to replace individual panels and groups of panels. The published standards include the removal of mechanical, electrical and decorative elements, plus painting time calculated on the basis of the time required to paint elements stripped to bare metal (mixing of paint at joints with adjacent panels is not included in the standards). The time for applying corrosion protection is included where appropriate.

Time standards were developed by the research center for insurance and repair (Motor Insurance Repair and Research Centre), and should be used for reference only. Standards are developed based on the time required to work with new, undamaged panels. Working tolerances are not included in the standard. The Insurance and Repair Center recommends adding 0.3 hours to the time standards for working with individual panels and 0.5 hours to the time standards for working with a group of panels.
