Front seat belt retractor mechanism (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Place the SRS system in safe mode. Refer to procedure: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering (501-20, General Procedures).

2. Remove the B-pillar upper trim panel. Refer to procedure: Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

3. Tightening torque: 40 Nm

WARNING: Use a new bolt.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
