Each axle shaft consists of a solid steel shaft with inner and outer constant velocity joints.
Tripod type internal hinge with spherical bushing to reduce sliding resistance; the shaft and the inner joint are a single unit.
The outer ball joint has a splined connection to the shaft. The joints are filled with grease and protected by covers.
The axle shafts are of equal length to eliminate steering wheel reactions when turning.
