Pinpoint Test A: Incorrect flow rate during evaporative emission system purge

A1: Checking the installation of the fuel filler cap and the condition of the canister, pipes and connectors

• Make sure the fuel tank filler neck is properly installed and tightened.
• Check the condition of the adsorber.
• Check the condition of all accessible pipes and connectors on the fuel vapor line.

Are the adsorber, pipes and connectors in good condition?

Да - GO to A2.
No - MAKE the necessary repairs. CLEAR the DTCs, check the system for proper operation.

A2: Checking the operation of the purge valve

• Disconnect the fuel vapor line from the EVAP purge valve inlet port.
• Start the engine and allow it to RUN for 2 minutes to reach normal operating temperature.
• Check the operation of the purge valve by touch or sound (using a stethoscope you can hear the valve operating).

Is the valve working?
