Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the front radiator grille.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Radiator grille.
3. Remove the radiator assembly.
COOLING SYSTEM: V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Radiator.
4. Install a container to collect the leaking working fluid.

5. Loosen the fastening and disconnect the power steering hoses from the working fluid cooler.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing steering components, make sure that the surfaces adjacent to the connections are free of dirt. Install plugs in the openings of the fittings and pipes to prevent dirt from entering the system.

6. Remove the cooler assembly from the left bracket.

7. Release the 2 fasteners securing the fan shroud to the cooling assembly and set the fan shroud aside.

8. Carefully loosen and remove the power steering fluid cooler from the cooler block.
Assembly
1. Wipe the places where the power steering pipes connect to the cooler.
2. Install and secure the power steering fluid cooler.
3. Install and secure the fan shroud to the cooling unit.
4. Secure the cooling unit to the mounting bracket.
5. Connect the power steering hoses to the power steering fluid cooler and secure them.
6. Reinstall the radiator assembly.
COOLING SYSTEM: V8 engine, REPAIR WORK, Radiator.
7. Reinstall the front radiator grille.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Radiator grille.
8. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
9. Add working fluid to the power steering reservoir and remove air from the system.
STEERING, ADJUSTMENTS, Power assisted steering (PAS) - bleeding.
