Operating procedure
1. Place the car on a lift.
CAUTION: Be careful when draining fluid, which can be very hot.
2. Apply the parking brake and chock the front and rear wheels.
3. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
4. Place a container to collect fluid under the automatic transmission.
NOTE: Drain the working fluid after the transmission has fully warmed up.
5. Wipe the area around the drain plug.
6. Remove the drain plug and discard the sealing washer.
7. Let the working fluid drain.
8. Clean the drain plug and install a new sealing washer.
9. Screw in the drain plug and tighten it to 45 Nm.
Filling
1. Wipe the area around the filler plug.
2. Turn out a stopper of a jellied opening.
3. Pour 3.5 to 4 liters of recommended fluid through the filler/level port.
FILLING CAPACITIES, LIQUIDS AND OILS, Lubrication system.
4. Wipe and screw in the filler plug.
5. Check the fluid level and top up to the lower edge of the filler hole.
MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE, Automatic Transmission - JATCO.
6. Reinstall the lower motor guard.
