Adjustment
1. Remove the lower engine guard.

2. Unscrew the nut securing the cable end to the selector lever.
3. Move the selector lever to position "P".
4. Turn the gearshift lever on the gearbox fully counterclockwise to the "P" position.
5. Pull the cable out of the sheath as far as possible and then release it. This technique eliminates the dead play of the cable.
6. Tighten the nut securing the cable end to the lever, tightening torque 6 Nm.
7. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

8. Move the selector lever through the arc of the working stroke from 'P' to '2' and back to 'P', checking during movement that the ranges are engaged correctly.
