Dismantling


1. Release the lock switch connector from the spring clip on the pan and disconnect the connector.

2. Move the selector lever to the 'N' position.

3. Remove the two bolts securing the lock switch to the gearbox and remove the switch.

Installation


1. Clean the lock switch and the mating surface of the transmission.

2. Align the inner tabs with the mark on the switch body.

3. Install the switch by aligning the 2 protrusions with the grooves on the selector lever rod.

4. Install the lock switch mounting bolt, but do not tighten it at this stage.

5. Connect the lock switch connector and secure the connector in the spring clip.

6. Adjust the lock switch.
