Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the lower engine guard.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Lower engine protection shield.
3. Place a container to collect any leaking coolant.

4. Loosen the two clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses from the transmission heat exchanger.
5. Place a container to collect the leaking liquid.

6. Disconnect the 2 fittings from the heat exchanger and discard the O-rings.
7. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the heat exchanger bracket.
8. Remove the working fluid cooling heat exchanger.
Installation
1. Wipe the heat exchanger attachment points.
2. Install the heat exchanger in place, screw in the bolts, tighten 2 bolts to 45 Nm and the remaining bolt to 25 Nm.

3. Connect the cooling system hoses and secure them with clamps.
4. Lubricate new sealing rings with clean working fluid and install them on the heat exchanger hoses.
5. Connect the hoses to the heat exchanger and tighten the fitting nuts to a torque of 18 Nm.
6. Add working fluid to the gearbox.
MAINTENANCE, Automatic transmission - JATCO.
7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
8. Fill the engine with coolant.
COOLING SYSTEM: Td4 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Draining coolant, flushing the system and filling.
9. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
