Setting up the remote control (Discovery 1)

Note: New remotes are sold in pairs. When replacing the remote control, it must be configured to the control unit.


1. Initial conditions: ignition off, doors not closed, hood switch pressed.

2. Perform operations according to points 3-9 in 8 seconds.

3. Turn on the ignition.

4. Turn off the ignition.

5. Close the doors.

6. Open the doors.

7. Release the hood switch.

8. Turn on the ignition.

9. Turn off the ignition. If the preliminary operations are carried out correctly, a sound signal will sound and the LED indicating the anti-theft system is on will light up. Now you can start setting up the remote controls. The setup must be completed no later than two minutes beforehand.

10. Press and hold the button on the first remote control until the anti-theft system indicator LED starts flashing.

11. Repeat step. 10 for the second remote control.

12. When the LED goes out, the setup is complete.
