Mpi is a water pump (Discovery 1)

1. Place a container under the lower pump hose to collect the liquid.

2. Disconnect the hose.

3. Unscrew the 5 pump cover mounting bolts.



4. Remove the cover.

5. Remove the pump impeller.

6. Remove and discard the three O-rings.



7. Clean the mating surfaces of the cover and pump body.

8. Coat the new o-rings with Loctite 405 and install them on the pump.

9. Install the impeller and pump cover, tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 25 Nm.

10. Reinstall the removed parts.
